Arien is another Dark-Huntress. The daughter of a thief, she was born with the gift of second-sight. As a result, she dedicated her life to helping others. Until an angry clansman blamed her for the death of his wife.

Accused of sorcery, she and her father were trying to escape into the hills when she was betrayed by the man who swore he would love her forever. Her father was hanged and she was burned as a heretic.

Since then, she isn't overly fond of men and spends most of her time helping Zoe harass the other Dark-Hunters. Well when she can anyway.

After becoming a Dark Hunter Ash came to Arien to train her. Arien found that her the vision's she had were stronger, much more reliable. Artemis's gift to her was the ability to control fire in all of its forms, along with the ability to camouflage an area she was fighting in. Her weapons of choice are the Whip Dagger and Half Moon Axes she carries, they had belonged to her father before she was killed.

Ash took Arien to Soren right after her rebirth into a Dark Hunter. Soren was a Blood Rites Squire that would protect Arien during her training period. But Soren felt a warmth towards Arien from the start. He talked it over with Acheron, and he was to ask Ash to be Arien's permanent squire.

On Arien's second night out training with her leader, she came upon a daimon trying to feed from a teenage girl. Arien killed the daimon that night, but the daimon's lover showed up and saw the end results. Waiting, the daimon went after Soren. He was slaughtered in front of her, there was nothing that could be done as she was outnumbered. Heartbroken Arien began to harden herself against everything.

This caused her power to skyrocket beyond its normal limitations. She was faster and stronger than a normal Dark Hunter, she could control some aspects of weather, and was virtually numb to pain. This made her the perfect warrior for Artemis... She was put into the ranks of the Dogs of War. Few Dark Hunters achieve it, and even fewer people know of them and what they can do, but the time is drawing near, the preternatural world is about to find out just what their kind are.

Welcome to My World

Sandra Bischoff is a Paranormal/Fantasy Romance author living in the historic town of Cornwall, NY. She has always enjoyed dabbling in storytelling. Creative writing was an emotional outlet during her school years but it wasn’t until after her son was born that opportunity struck. A friend approached her to write in a forum on a popular networking website. That was when her passion had found its niche.

Her debut novel, Beyond the Sun, started out as a short story created for the forum but quickly evolved into something else. That was how Jared Bonatelli and a Vampire’s Camelot were born.

The second book in this series entitled Beyond Time quickly followed just in time for the Romantic Times Convention in New Orleans. Lance’s story is one very close to her heart. It draws from an obsession with everything King Arthur and Camelot. You witness him go through a period of self-discovery that spans two different time periods.

She recently released a collection sampler containing chapters from each novel as well as her third book, Drakkar Beyond the Lie. This novel continues the world of my Dark Order of the Dragon series. There are many more books planned for this series as well as another time travel to bring a Knight of Camelot to present day New York.
